The Startup With a Broken Funnel

A SaaS startup came to me frustrated. They had investors, a product, and even traffic, but leads were leaking everywhere. “We’re spending lakhs on ads, but no one’s converting,” the founder said.
The Challenge
The funnel was overly complex: multiple landing pages, inconsistent CTAs, and no nurturing flow. Leads dropped off after the first interaction.
The Turning Point
I ran a quick audit and told them, “Your funnel isn’t broken—it’s overbuilt. Let’s simplify.”
The Strategy
We rebuilt the funnel around clarity:
One Primary Landing Page: Single clear offer, strong CTA.
Email + LinkedIn Nurturing: Consistent messaging across platforms.
Analytics Fix: HubSpot + GA4 integration for clean tracking.
Execution
We scrapped 5 landing pages and created one master page with a headline that spoke directly to the pain point. Ad creatives were refreshed with short, story-driven videos. Outreach campaigns targeted specific job titles.
Results
Within 60 days, CPL dropped from ₹1,200 to ₹350. Conversions increased 3x. The founder messaged, “We’re finally seeing leads turn into real demos.”
Takeaway
Sometimes growth isn’t about adding—it’s about subtracting. Simplify, then scale.
